We are looking for an Accounting Manager for an industry leader within the retail industry, located in Birmingham, AL.
About the Role
Lead the AP and AR team to perform daily accounting operations in accordance and compliance with the group accounting policies
In charge of system, finance operations & control process related projects
Act as the bridge between the Accounting Team in the markets with Regional IT and HQ in solving the accounting system problems
Liaise with auditor for annual audit and tax representative on the preparation of annual profits tax computation
Assist in the set-up of internal control procedure and ensure the compliance of these procedures
Requirements
Degree holder or above in Finance, Accounting with professional accounting qualification such as CPA or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years relevant experience in accounting, retail background is a must
Solid experience is finance system implementation and enhancement is preferred
Good business acumen, strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint
