About our Client

We are looking for a Specialist, Banking Operations for a statewide bank located in Tulsa, OK.

About the Role

  • Responsible for oversight of Helpdesk by assigning issues/needs to the appropriate department and assisting with operational needs.

  • Responsible for answering customer calls relating to online banking and its related features including Online & Mobile Banking, BillPay, Voice Banking, P2P & A2A payments, and other personal and business online functions.

  • Daily resolution of all non-posted items and processing of all NSF items.

  • Responsible for demonstrating accuracy and orderliness while processing (within Reg E rules), tracking and working dispute queues specific to ACH, ATM and POS disputes. Responsible for issuing provisional or final credit, when applicable. Responsible for responding to customers in accordance with Reg. E timeframes.

  • Responsible for debit card matters including but not limited to maintenance, compromised cards, exclusions, activations, and pin resets.

  • Responsible for daily reporting and general ledger review.

  • Responsible for various file and batch processing, including but not limited to the daily Debit Card Settlement, Returns, Chargebacks, ACH origination and Accounts Payable file. Also responsible for assisting the Finance Department in batch processing ACH clearing entries, transit item clearing, etc.

  • Responsible for following the appropriate Rules and Regulations related to file processing and possible exceptions to ensure completion within the appropriate timeframes. Responsible for responding to research and maintenance requests promptly.

  • Responsible for FED adjustments, inputting incoming wires and reviewing outgoing wires. Also responsible for reporting associated with FedLine Advantage and preparing reports for various audits and the Finance Department.

  • Responsible for the daily review of ATM and Mobile deposits.

  • Responsible for processing and review of some deposit account maintenance including dormant and escheated accounts, eStatement enrollment and deposit class changes.

  • Responsible for assistance with operational projects as delegated by management.

  • Responsible for providing back up to all other Banking Operations Specialists.

  • Completes all duties to ensure compliance with BSA and OFAC requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of work experience in banking required.

  • Strong technical knowledge and efficient troubleshooting capabilities. Strong analytical, organizational and critical-thinking skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills. Must have good communication skills, ability to convey technical topics in an easy to digest way to non-technical people.

  • Strong customer service mindset, having a professional demeanor and helpful attitude.

  • Self-motivated and works well independently.
